Redland Thunderstorms

It was pouring down rain, thunder was shaking the house, and the dogs were terrified. They were barking out of their mind, and so were we. The trees around my house were swaying back and forth, rain was coming in sideways, and the wind was howling; just like it usually does in Redland, Oregon. Karyle, Kilee and I were screaming and yelping with joy! It was time to go into the hot tub. We quickly stripped off all of our clothes and popped on our bikinis. We ran to the back of the house as fast as we could! Tripping and laughing over each other, all the way out there. That’s when the fun began!
The hot tub on my back deck was the perfect temperature! Nice and hot so when we stepped in. Our feet turned the perfect shade of pink. We had a crazy water fight for well over an hour or two. We eventually got kind of bored. We started blasting music and dancing to keep the fun lasting! Eventually, it got quiet again and I got the greatest idea ever. “Let’s go down to the yard and roll around in the mud!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. Kilee and Karlye thought it was a wonderful idea; so that’s what we did. We ran down there, slipping and falling on the deck. It was the greatest time. Especially, when we started just grabbing the mud and throwing it at each other and smearing it into one another’s faces.
We were all such a mess! Thank goodness no one was home. We trashed the house trying to make it to the bathroom to clean up. It was most definitely one of the most incredible experiences of my life. I would do that again, any day.
