An Experience At Ski Bowl

It was just getting dark and I was suiting up to go snowboarding at Ski Bowl. Ski Bowl has the best night skiing runs so I decided to go up to there instead of Mt. Hood Meadows. I was so excited my heart was pumping twice as fast and I was starting to get an adrenaline rush. My dad and brother were also getting ready to have an amazing night of skiing.
The snow was coming down slowly, but in big chunks and it was just cold enough to where I needed three layers on the top part of my body and four on my torso and leg area. It was a perfect night for snowboarding, one of the best nights I’ve seen up at the mountain for a long time. When I was walking with my dad and brother to get our lift tickets, we were just having a normal conversation and talking about what we think the runs will be like. That was getting us very eager to go on the runs. We finally got to where we needed to be after about five minutes of walking, I was kind of tired because it was a work out walking all that way. It was pretty deep snow and I carrying my snowboard, which was quite heavy. After I put my lift ticket on to my jacket, I walked for about two more minutes then set my snowboard on the ground, and strapped in my left foot to the front binding; my brother did the same as me. We got to the first lift and waited in line for a couple minutes then it was our turn to ride the lift. We pushed our way on to the lift, where we talked until we got off the lift then we sat down and strapped in our other foot and then bombed down the mountain face.
After we got back down to the bottom of the lift me and my brother rode down the mountain four or five times. Once we were done on that lift we went to a couple different runs before we went into the lobby to eat dinner with my dad. My dad told us about his time up at Ski Bowl so far. After that my brother and me told him how it’s going for us. We ate for about half an hour and then we went back out to go snowboard again. We stayed out for another two hours.
When we were done we went back to the truck and I took off my snow pants, boots, and snow jacket, so I could be more comfy. I got into the truck and poured myself some hot chocolate, but it wasn’t very hot. Then I told myself it was just another amazing experience at Mt. Hood, the best part of Oregon.
