See and Hear Radio + TV Oregon Stories
April 9, 2009
Oregon 150 has so far collected almost 600 first person stories, by Oregonians, about living in Oregon as a part of our “Oregon Stories” project. Included are essays, poems, spoken stories, videos, and photographs.
Oregonians can now hear Radio Oregon Stories on Entercom stations in the Portland Metro Area (including: KFXX, KGON, KNRK, KRSK, KWJJ, and KYCH).
Starting this month, radio stations across the state are invited to download these radio stories and broadcast them for free and Oregon 150 is also encouraging stations to record their own, local radio stories.
You can also watch Oregon stories this month on Comcast Cable Channels 11 and 21. Produced by one of our partners, MetroEast Community Media. These are personal narratives about what living in Oregon means to the community in the Gresham area. Check your local listings for specific dates and times.
All Oregon Stories, including Radio stories, can be found at oregon150.org.
