Every Friday night in the fall, at High Schools across the state, dreams are alive as football teams take the field. Parkrose is no different. The Parkrose football team is not known for winning but that’s not the point. My favorite thing about Oregon is playing football in the pouring rain. Nothing compares to the feeling of being under the lights and having that rain rolling off your helmet. I am on my way to college to play football in another state but nothing will ever compare to playing in the Oregon rain.
