My Friend, My Love, My Joseph

I fell in love with Joseph. It’s hard to believe that one can find love within forty-eight hours, but it happened to me. Excitement and adrenaline buzzed rapidly through my veins as black clouds shrouded the sky and waltzed with the roaring thunder. I’m not sure what took my breath away, the blustering wind or Joseph’s beauty.

Joseph, a little town located in the north east corner of Oregon captured my attention with life-sized bronze statues, unique art, and vivacious citizens. Joseph gave me the opportunity to reconnect with nature on this Oregon journey.

I watched the sunrise and sunset that seemed to burn mountain tops and frost lakes with fire. During the day I ventured the latest local hotspot diners and shops, explored hiking trails and enjoyed sunny warmth. Daytime was not the only time to experience Joseph, in the evenings my family and I drove the back roads during the constant thunderstorms. It appeared to be a cue for the deer to dance with us. The four legged beauties pranced through high grass and unusually warm rain.

I gasped as the thunder and lightening began their duet…

I think I’m in love with Joseph.
