162 Years in Oregon

The three lines of my family that came to Oregon in 1846, 1847 and 1852. They were Alvis Kimsey, James Monroe Fulkerson and Rev. Joab Powell. They settled in Yamhill, Linn and Polk Counties. All of them played a part in settling what would become Oregon. My gr. grandmother Kimsey was born in Yamhill Co. Oregon Territory in 1849. Through her I am a fourth generation Oregonian. There are now seven generations of us here.
