Oregon In Point Of View

If someone asked me why I love living in Oregon….

I would tell them that I don’t. I don’t like living in Oregon. The weather is rarely warm, it randomly snows and it’s always raining! There’s no “fun” theme parks, but there is the ocean. That’s fun except for the fact that you can’t even get in the water without getting hypothermia. And you can’t really sit there and enjoy the beach because the wind’s blowing which means sand in your eyes. But that does make a good kite day. It’s a win or lose situation in Oregon. Some people love it, others don’t. And for me it’s a not so much. There’s not really much to tour here either unless that is the beach, or if you go hiking because we do have mountains. Which is good for photography as well.

I would have to say my all time favorite thing in Oregon is Kah-Nee-Tah! The old Indian reservoir. It is always so warm there, just lying by the pool, playing in the pool or relaxing at your camping spot. Our family goes there every year for Father’s Day weekend. And I’m talking the whole family, like 4 camp sites, my grandma always stays in the hotel and my grandpa he sleeps in the back of their s.u.v. (That always makes me laugh; my grandma can’t sleep next to him because he snores so loud.) Other than Kan-Nee-Tah I can’t really think of much else that I really enjoy doing. I guess I’m just an unhappy Oregonian. But I’m also 18 so everything’s just boring to me :)
