Oregon Start to Finish

I didn’t move here, I was born here. I don’t know anything else. I live on the coast where it’s sunny one hundred days out of the year. That’s a lot of rain and it’s also cold. During our summers 70°F is hot. If you subtract weather from the equation you get smoked salmon, homemade jerky and crab boats. Fishing, hunting and crabbing are the most popular activities on the coast. If you don’t like them, you’re stuck with nothing to do.

I also have the beach. I see it every day so I take advantage of it. Oregon is green with all of its trees and national parks but we don’t only have tree’s and beaches we have views. Cape Perpetua is one of our many scenic views along the coast. It not only has a nice view, it’s a nice hike. Oregon with all the beaches and tree’s is nice to look at and easy to enjoy by taking part in outdoor activities.

I grew up camping, fishing, and hiking. When I wasn’t doing any of those things, I was outdoors climbing trees. As much as I do want to get out of Oregon, I’ll always love the memories I made here and will always want to come back.
