We Like Being a Green State

The rain is falling hard and I wish that I could be in the hot Caribbean, but then I realize where I live is just fine. The feeling of the ocean breeze, the bird’s comely flying above, and me breathing in the fresh air that comes from the Oregon coast. I think about the people who wish that they could live in such a giving state with all the freedom we have. Some people might think that we live out in the country and we don’t even have paved roads; well, we like being a green state that no one really knows about. We live in an evergreen place to raise a big loving family. I’m so glad that I can look up at the sky and see stars, not city towers hovering above, blocking my view!

I know it’s surprising but I love the fact that I never know what the weather’s going to be like. Although it is rare, I remember last year when the snow was frozen to the ground while the sun was in the sky, and it was starting to pour down rain. It just shows that we are unpredictable and can be different.
