When I first came to Oregon, I was kind of sad because my cousins and friends live in California. At first I felt like this place was so ugly but after I went to school and met new friends I felt better. There are some beautiful places like Seaside and Ecola State Park, the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life. The best thing is that I have a new school, new friends, and new teachers. I don’t like the fact about a tsunami. The beach is cool too and the Haystack Rock is so cool, some birds that live there are beautiful. Some people maybe say that Oregon is ugly and cold but I like Oregon the way it is.
Oregon reminds me of Mexico because Mexico is green like it is here. I also miss Mexico because I left all my family there, but I have more friends than ever and I have had the happiest days since I was in Mexico.
When I came to Oregon, I thought there was more green, water, and rain; in California it only rained 4 times per year, and in the summer the weather was about 109 degrees. I really hated it. I really like it here because it is just like in Mexico and it rains just like in Mexico.
