It’s Like That in Oregon

We woke up at 6:00 am and packed the car with camping gear. Everyone was tired, but excited to go camping in Medford, Oregon. We all got in the car, even my dog. He was a Red Hair Boarder Collie.
We drove for hours and stopped a lot. We stopped in Salem, Gold Hill, and Grants Pass. It took us about 6 to 7 hours to get to Medford. The campsite was called the KOA. When we got to the campsite it was about lunchtime, so we made sandwiches. After we ate, we set up camp. My family and I walked to the river to fish. My dog would chase the fish away, so we told him to go lay down and he was mad. My sister had a huge fish on her line, but it pulled her and she fell in the water. She was soaked head to toe. Then I caught a fish and so did my dad. We walked back to the campsite and cooked the fish over a fire. My dog loved fish.
We stayed for a week and it rained a lot. My dad and I rode our bikes down stream to pick berries. We found a lot of blackberries and rode our bikes back to the campsite. We were all sad that we had to go back home. It did rain, but it’s like that in Oregon. Camping in Oregon was really fun.
